Sitting beside my mom at the hotel. She has been reading every line of the 25 page packet that summarizes my DISC analysis that we did at work last week.
She keeps saying things like, “hmmm”, and “this is interesting” and then chuckles.

This is a first
Flying frontier from DEN to MCI this morning (short flight, hour and fifteen minutes). We were getting ready to take off and they decided that the taxi out to the runway had used too much fuel and we needed to go back to the gate and Re-fuel before taking off.
Cue collective groan from the cabin.
How can they leave that little room for error?

It has been a weekend

Lucero, J. Roddy Walston & the Business, Band of Horses, Shovels & Rope, Delta Spirit, Kurt Vile & the Violators, Dr. Dog, and the Drive-By Truckers. All in two days.
Shaky Knees did everything right. A++ grade for them. Now we destroy some burgers and tacos and call it a night.
I gotta say, Paste threw a heckuva music festival. I’d come back again.
