There’s a crappy little band in Minnesota that does crappy little covers of all of my favorite Texas bands. About a year ago they sent me a friend request on Facebook. I got tired of getting invites to all their gigs at crappy little bars, so I deleted them as my friend about 2 months ago. About 5 minutes ago, I got another friend request from them…..persistent little buggers.

Ok. I’m done being a whiney bitch now. I know, I know, I should be thankful I’m getting supper.
Spent 6 hours in a car today to visit family that I don’t really enjoy. Rode in my mom’s car and thus had to listen to KLOVE for most of it.
UGH, this will go down as one of the shittier birthdays on record.

My jeep is now lodged in a 6ft snow drift along with my fathers truck, my neighbors truck, and a sheriffs car. The county roads were ‘cleared’ but apparently that’s no match for 50 mph winds and snow pack. Leavenworth County has agreed to tow all of our vehicles when they come back for their patrol car tomorrow….with a tractor.
After the half-mile hike back home I’m currently thawing...

I have been throwing up, sweating and getting chills for the last 48 hours. And I had a huge rash all over my body yesterday. It’s hard for me to even be awake. I haven’t had a cigarette in two days as well, and I’m a 1 pack a day kinda guy…so that’s making me feel even worse. I’ve missed work, haven’t been able to write or play guitar….and I can’t hold any liquids inside of my body....
God bless my parents, I love them dearly. But, I can’t handle sitting through one more Hallmark Channel Christmas movie. So, I’ve retired to the office to listen to some Christmas music and drink my Poinsettia in peace.
My brother should be here soon and the party shall begin. :)
