I know, I know, the suspense has been killing all of you. Finally, the time has arrived to reveal my #1 record for the year (read, I finally felt like posting it).
Drum roll…..
Tift Merritt - Another Country
Certainly not the most interesting record of the year (that belongs to the Brother Felice), but definitely my most listened to. The album hasn’t left my CD changer since I bought it, which means pretty much every time I have the stereo in my house on, I’ve listened.
Not only was this my most listened to album of the year, but the main reason I chose it as #1 is I think it has staying power. I can honestly see myself listening to it 1, 5, even 10 years from now.
