Listening to a VERY green English major trying to explain literary criticism to his date. And he says “and so the reader is the writer” and a bunch of other cliches and then he rambles some more and says “facsimile” too often. And she starts out giggling. And now he moves on to “premise” and “truth” and she laughs awkwardly and looks for a way to bolt. But, I bet he told her he’s in a band and she’s too young to know she should run away.

I got to shoot this video while sitting in a white, naugahyde dentist chair.
So, I did get to drive here today (yes, that’s a single-lane bridge). Made it home in time for a quick beer at my fav dive and now dinner and a pint at a really super pub. Stroll through downtown right as it started to cool off. Yeah, I think Athens and I will be together for a while.
The good? I slept like a champ last night and for the first time in a couple of weeks, I don’t have a sinus headache today.
The bad? With the exception of the 1 hour after my morning run, all I’ve wanted to do today is sleep. So, I’ve taken a field trip to my fav coffee joint in search of inspiration.
