The Old Man made it in his high-school shop class. I guess that makes it an antique, which sounds so much nicer than hand-me-down.
My mama sent me a copy of “the article” today. A quick skim revealed that despite the fact that they sent one of their photogs out to follow The Old Man around, they’d actually used a couple of my photos ( the one above, for example) in the piece. Reckon they gave photo credit? Nope. Isn’t that sort of tacky?
Plus, it was just pretty poorly written and some of the facts were even wrong.
The Old Man: O shit I wish it would go away. You can’t believe the weird Emails Ive had in the last couple of weeks.
Me: Ha! Really? I knew you weren’t really cut out for fame. ;)
The Old Man: Yea, I’ve been getting phone calls and email from people I’ve never met. They are always intrigued by my horse training and cowboy life, the leather work don’t** seem to surface.

Ha! Someone just sent me a pic of this mag. That’s my Old Man on the cover. Apparently there’s an article on him inside. He failed to tell me about this.
